TK Class Tradition: "We are Family”

The St. Perpetua Family proudly welcomes our youngest members, the precious Transitional Kindergartners, affectionately known as the TKs.  Tiny in size but full of heart, our TK students are making their mark - thumbprints in the shape of a cross.  Artfully displayed on watercolor paper in a gallery frame, these teeny thumbprints join together to show “We are Family” for all to see.

“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”  ~Matthew 6:21.

Thank you to Becky Avila, Ashley Hemkin, Hillary Stevens, and the youngest members of our St. Perpetua School family.

Kindergarten Class Tradition: "Come Sit with Me" - LIVE

"Come sit with me awhile,” my child asked of me,
For now, he’s five years old and longs for me to be,
By his side each day, and kissing him at night,
Before I know it, he’ll be grown and not in daily sight.
I’ll always have our bench, where we used to talk and rest,
Holding tender memories while he was in my nest.

Handcrafted and carefully decorated with porcelain tiles painted by each St. Perpetua Kindergartener, this redwood bench is a beautiful addition to any home or garden. This unique piece is made to be loved and cherished by whoever is lucky enough to receive it. Hold on to this special time and reminisce about it for years to come while taking a rest on this stunning bench “Handcrafted with Love” by our St. Perpetua Kindergarten class.

Thank you to Anna Maria Thomma, Ally Vesce, and the Kindergarten class. Also, a special thank you to Brian Vesce for constructing the bench.

1st Grade Class Tradition: "A Moment in Time"

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. Few things are as precious as the little hands and tooth-filled (or toothless!) grins of our darling 1st graders, and this “HAND-made” creation will ensure this fleeting moment in time will never fade. Each child’s colorful personality has been artfully captured, then adorned by individual handprints in classic black with white matting, signed by each child, and displayed in a high-quality gallery frame. This “Moment in Time” keepsake will surely take your breath away!

Thank you, Laura Nackord, Ally Vesce, and the first-grade class. Also, a special thank you to Sarah Christensen who lent her photography talents.

2nd Grade Class Tradition: "Rooted in Love Platter" - LIVE

“Our family is like the branches of a tree. We may grow in our own directions, yet our roots remain as one.” Our 2nd grade class is rooted in love, and the children blossom as their fingerprints form the leaves of their Class Family Tree. It’s been said that the roots of a family tree begin with the love of two hearts – in this case, many hearts and two wise owls - Mrs. Heiskell and Mrs. O'Sullivan!

Serve up your next celebratory meal with a handcrafted piece created by your own child and the entire 2nd grade class! This is one-of-a-kind, 18-inch square ceramic serving platter can be used for birthdays, special occasions or as a piece of art hung on your wall. What a special keepsake for your child and family to remember this 2nd grade “family” and deep-rooted bonds for years to come.

Thank you to Helena Gavilanes, Emilia Shouleva, Lily Voltatorni, and the second-grade class. Also, special thank you to Color Me Mine and their staff.

6th Grade Class Tradition: "Reflections of Faith and Flexibility"

The Class of 2023 started the first year of Middle School during the COVID-19 pandemic and adjusted to extraordinary changes that were put before them.  While not having all the experiences 6th grade would normally bring, they have bonded in a new way!

This year, the 6th grade class tradition is a special, one-time piece that you don’t want to pass up. A beautiful, handcrafted cutting board that features each students’ engraved signature and the word "flexible". It is a representation of the auction theme of this year, the rustic charm of a vintage piece and the 6th grade students' input of how they define the 2020-2021 school year!

Thank you to Laurel Browman, Joy Karol, Staci Kramer, Diana Westerberg, and the sixth-grade class.

7th Grade Class Tradition: "Hope During the Pandemic"

Planting a Peace Pole is a way of bringing people together to inspire, awaken and uplift the human consciousness.  It reminds us to think, speak and act in the spirit of peace and harmony. Our 7th grade students have come together to create this magical addition for your garden. Their artwork symbolizes what gave them hope during the COVID - 19 pandemic.

Our weatherproof garden Peace Pole with 6 ft of artistic designs from our students is a perfect addition to one's yard with a copper solar light topper as a finishing touch. Place in your garden or outdoors for a colorful and meaningful treasure.

8th Grade Class Tradition: "This is Me"

What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.  Our beloved 8th Grade Class Tradition, “This is Me,” is just that… a personal expression by each of our beloved 2019 graduates. This journal-style memory book is a celebration of individual personalities, special memories, and endearing characteristics.  Filled with thought-provoking questions and sure-to-be-cherished handwritten answers by each child, you’ll savor a glimpse into who s/he is today, at this moment. This commemorative album features one-of-a-kind portraits by photographer Renee Sweeney, whose gift for capturing the essence of each child’s personality is awe-inspiring.  Accenting these priceless images are several special photos hand-selected by each child. You will relish this moment in time right before your son or daughter leaves the halls of St. Perpetua School and enters his/her new chapter of life. So, whether to mark the end of their St. P’s journey, take a stroll down memory lane, or just better understand what makes your teen tick these days, “This is Me” will be a treasured keepsake for years to come.
