TK Class Tradition: "We are Family"

The St. Perpetua Family proudly welcomes our youngest members, the precious Transitional Kindergartners, affectionately known as the TKs. Tiny in size but full of heart, our TK students are making their mark – thumbprints in the shape of a cross. Artfully displayed on watercolor paper in a gallery frame, these teeny thumbprints join together to show “We are Family” for all to see.

"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."  ~Matthew 6:21.

Special thanks to our room parents Shirlee Guggiana and Laura Harter and to Lisa Adler for her project help.  Thank you to the TK teachers, Mrs. Semenchuk and Claire Nuti and our youngest members of our St. Perpetua School family!

Kindergarten Class Tradition: "Come Sit with Me" - LIVE

"Come sit with me awhile," my child asked of me,
For now, he’s five years old and longs for me to be,
By his side each day, and kissing him at night,
Before I know it, he’ll be grown and not in daily sight.
I’ll always have our bench, where we used to talk and rest,
Holding tender memories while he was in my nest.

Handcrafted and carefully decorated with porcelain tiles painted by each St. Perpetua Kindergartener, this modern style kiln dried redwood bench stained in a Kona brown finish is a beautiful addition to any home. This unique piece is made to be loved and cherished by whoever is lucky enough to receive it. Hold on to this special time and reminisce about it for years to come while taking a rest on this stunning bench “Handcrafted with Love” by our St. Perpetua Kindergarten class.

Special thanks to the Nackord and Inman families for your dedication, hard work and seeing this project through.  Thank you Patrick Nackord for the beautiful stain and tile work, and thanks to the Ridings and Margiotti Families from California Urban Lumber for donating the woodwork.  Finally, thanks to our Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Warner and our kindergartners for their beautiful artwork and support!
