Kindergarten Class Tradition: "Come Sit with Me"
“Come sit with me awhile,” my child asked of me,
For now he’s five years old and longs for me to be,
By his side each day, and kissing him at night,
Before I know it he’ll be grown and not in daily sight.
I’ll always have our bench, where we used to talk and rest,
Holding tender memories while he was in my nest.”
Handcrafted and carefully decorated with porcelain tiles painted by each St. Perpetua Kindergartener, this modern style kiln dried redwood bench stained in a kona brown finish is a beautiful addition to any home. This unique piece is made to be loved and cherished by whoever is lucky enough to receive it. Hold on to this special time and reminisce about it for years to come while taking a rest on this stunning bench “Handcrafted with Love” by our St. Perpetua Kindergarten class.
Special thanks to Shirlee Guggianna for your dedication, hard work and seeing this project through. Thank you Daryl Guggiana for your carpentry talent on the beautiful stain and tile work. 2nd Grade Class Tradition: "Rooted in Love"
“Our family is like the branches of a tree. We may grow in our own directions, yet our roots remain as one.” Our 2nd grade class is rooted in love, and the children blossom as their fingerprints form the leaves of their Class Family Tree. It’s been said that the roots of a family tree begin with the love of two hearts – in this case, many hearts and two wise owls – Mrs. Heiskell and Mrs. O’Sullivan! Serve up your next celebratory meal with a handcrafted piece created by your own child and the entire 2nd grade class! This one-of-a-kind, 18-inch square ceramic serving platter can be used for birthdays, special occasions or as a piece of art hung on your wall. What a special keepsake for your child and family to remember this 2nd grade “family” and deep-rooted bonds for years to come.
Special thanks to Color Me Mine for lending its artistic touch and to our 2nd grade teachers for their assistance. Thank you: Casey Hanley and Kelly Rothenberg for seeing the project through and of course, thanks to our wonderful 2nd grade class.

3rd Grade Class Tradition: "Whose Broad Stripes and Bright Stars"
Our very own 3rd graders’ unique rendition of the American flag is a beautiful piece of original art that will grace your walls forever. This timely and patriotic view of America’s most treasured symbol comes from the proud hearts of the 3rd grade and captures their allegiance to our flag in an interpretation like no other. The 3x4 foot canvas in acrylic paint has an amazing layered texture to it and is signed by each artist. So proudly display your love of America with this heartfelt symbol.
Special thanks to Ali Bodden for your talent and hardwork. Thanks to our terrific liaison, Megan Gallagher, for all of your dedication and help with the project. Lastly, thank you Mrs. Banchero and Mrs. Trapp and our 3rd grade class for your beautiful artwork and support!

6th Grade Class Tradition: "Growth and Friendship"
This year’s 6th grade class tradition for the auction is a special, one-time piece that you don’t want to pass up. This photo of the class was taken when the students first arrived at Caritas and the anticipation is noticeable in their faces! The beautiful rustic frame is engraved with each student’s name and features the theme, “Growth and Friendship.” This theme reflects the strong connections the students made with each other, with God, and with nature. Camp at Caritas is a magical week and this framed photo captures a treasured memory!
Special thanks to Sally Salay for working on this cherished project. Thanks to our 6th grade parents who helped capture the Caritas moments and thanks to our 6th graders for their contributions.

7th Grade Class Tradition: "Peace Pole"
Planting a Peace Pole is a way of bringing people together to inspire, awaken, and uplift the human consciousness. It reminds us to think, speak and act in the spirit of peace and harmony. Our 7th grade students have come together to create this magical addition for your garden. Their artwork symbolizes their hopes and dreams and is a timeless monument of peace. Our weatherproof Peace Pole is over 9 ft tall with 8 ft of artistic design by your 7th grade students. It is adorned with a matching solar lighted topper. Place it anywhere outdoors for a colorful and meaningful treasure.
Special thanks to Katie Dengler for all of your dedication and hard work that you put into this project. Thank you Ms. Espinoza, and the 7th grade class for their artistic talent and support!
